To the untrained eye, being a producer can seem like all work and no play, but producing is actually a very creative process. The producer is the first person attached to a project and the last one to leave it, and they heavily influence the ideas and structure of the final film. A great producer has not just passion and organisational skills, but also a keen creative mind.
