Some music videos that I directed. Will try and upload more videos, when I get more time.
The official Shank theme tune - We were super tired after wrapping on Shank. Still don’t understand how Bashy gave his full energy to this shoot especially shooting the movie with us. I guess that why he’s one of the best actors in America -right now!
Fun Fact: the VFX took us 4 months to finish 😱
Huge thanks to JT for pull all the VFX stops on this.
BBK are the greatest grime group ever - facts!
Really honored to work with them. Still crazy that this tune is bring played at clubs all over the world.
Best Video Shoot ever - the crew, the artist, the cameros, the dances all added to a fantastic shoot.
There’s behind the scene clips of us joking about on set that’s STILL being upload on social media till this day!
Fun Day x
Skepta was a joy to work with!
Fun fact: Skepta invited Timmy Mallett to make a cameo appearance in his music video for “Do The Rolex Sweep” in 2008. Timmy also attended The Mobo Awards with Skepta in the same year.
My 2nd Video:
I had a blast making this video. I really enjoyed coming with ideas (with Jammer) on how we can break the stereotype that’s labelled at grime MC’s. We wanted to make something fun and full of energy.
Apologies for the low quality on the classic videos. We were kids running around shooting on DV tapes and didn’t really care about preservation.
I just wanted to express myself creatively and move on to the next project. Channel U days lol
This was my 1st ever video
The budget was £200 and we filmed this video for over 6 days. MAD RIGHT?! God knows how we made it but we did it.
The rest was history - Huge thanks for Leathal in trusting me to do it.
Apologies for the low quality as we were kids running around shooting DV tapes and didn’t really care about preservation.
Channel U days lol
My 3rd video:
Man I love Bruza - The guy was an absolute legend to work with.
We wanted to make Channel U with loads of camera move that showed Bruza’s uniqueness as a grime artist.
Loads of fun was had while making this.
Apologies for the low quality on the classic videos. We were kids running around shooting on DV tapes and didn’t really care about preservation.
I just wanted to express myself creatively and move on to the next project. Channel U days lol
My 4th Video:
My sole job on this was to capture Ghetts’ energy on camera and keep up with him by the using every editing trick, I knew at the time. I crashed my computer a few times due to the number of frame cuts used to create that striking visual impact.
Thank you Ghetts
